I had the pleasure this week of welcoming a new customer to our agency. Coverage was previously with one of the leading online direct sales type companies. I noticed the customer was paying extra for a filing in another state. I asked the customer why this charge was on the policy. Customer didn't know. I phoned the direct sales folks asking them. The response was we dont know. I couldn't beleive it. Why wouldn't you ask the customer why they have the filing? The response was "we expect the customer to know." Now, in our office it works the other way. We are expected to know. So, anyway we were able to remove the filing and save the customer about $200.00. Yes, it did take more than 15 minutes. Most jobs done right really do. If you buy online I think you should have a knowledgeable freind look over and give you a second oppinion. Money spent for nothing buys you - nothing!
